Why does my cat with FHV shake his paws like they're asleep when he gets up?

Cat having a fhv flare up and every time he gets up he shakes all his paws as if they are asleep. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 15 lbs

There is nothing you can do about this. As long as he is walking normally and only shakes the paws for a few seconds after getting up I would not be overly worried. You know him best so if you are worried, I suggest you video him doing the behavior and have your vet look at it for their opinion.
