My senior dog has a growing belly tumor and trouble moving. What now?

I have a female Shar Pei dog. From last few months a tumor in her belly is significantly increasing. She is facing problem in moving. She's almost 12 years old now. What should be done now? Please help. Pet's info: Dog | Shar Pei | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 7 months old | 33 lbs

She should be physically examined by your veterinarian. A fine needle aspirate or biopsy can be done to collect samples for pathology. This may provide a diagnosis. Even if the mass is benign, removal should be considered due to its size and location. Her age should not be a factor as long as her physical exam and blood work are normal.
