My puppy is grieving her sibling's death. How can I support her?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 1 day old | 7 lbs

One of our 3 month old puppies passed away suddenly today. She left behind her litter mate sister. I feel like she is already showing signs of sadness herself. What can we do for her during this difficult time? She has mom and dad also at home who she plays with but it doesn’t seem like it’ll be the same for her. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your puppy. Your best option for the remaining puppy is to exercise her every day and focus on entertaining her with games and training session. Stick to a routine. Mourning is normal but should pass within a couple weeks. I hope this helps.
