My dog sprained her leg. How long until she can jump and run again?

Update just got back from the vet her grabbed her knee and moved it around and her hip. Said he didn’t feel anything moving around and said she sprained it when she slipped. So she is on pain meds for ten days and no jumping or running. He said she should heal up fine but I don’t know how long till she will be good to go. Do you think the same ?? Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer | Female | spayed | 65 lbs

I'm really happy to hear Ruby has not done any seriois damage to her leg, Im sure you are relieved. Ten days rest is what I would suggest for a sprain. See how she is getting on and if she still is a little sore you can extend the period. If she is not making good improvement I would go back to the vet.
