My dog's tick fell off, but is the head still in? What should I do?

My dog had a tick but it fell off before I had a chance to pull it out properly. I think the head may still be attached, but I’m not sure. What should I do to best care for this? Pet's info: Dog | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs
