My dog slipped on the floor and won't put weight on her hip or leg.

Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer | Female | spayed | 65 lbs

My dog slipped on the wood floor and she won’t put weight on it at first she pulled it up but then after a little she straighted it out but still won’t be weight on it. She fell on more of her hip theigh area. I think she pulled a muscle or bruised her hip It’s her back leg

It could simply be that she has strained a muscle. However, ligaments can also easily be damaged and even fractures are a possibility. If she is completely non weightbearing then I would go to the vet just in case serious damage has been done. She will certainly benefit from some painkillers if nothing else.
