My dog has glue in her fur from a trap. How do I remove it safely?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 7 lbs

My dog got stuck in a glue rat trap, though its non toxic we are struggling to get her long fur out of the glue and resorted to shave the leg that got stuck, is there any tricks we can use to get the glue out of her fur? (we already used rubbing alcohol, cooking oil, mineral oil, and dawn)

Vegetable or mineral should have removed a majority of the residue. You can use a fine toothed comb to "brush" out the rest of it. Once you're done, cleanse the area with a few drops of Dawn dish soap and warm water.
