Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed
my female cat gave birth to 4 kittens on 17 December 2019. Kittens now are now about 8 weeks of age. I got a other 2 adult male cats at home and i never let them close or play to kittens until now cause im afraid the adult males might hurt the kittens. They only see the kittens from inside the cage. May i know when is appropriate and best time for me to introduce and let them play together with no supervision from anybody and to ensure that the adult male wont hurt those kittens. Thank You

Start with always supervising the interactions and play. If there has been no aggression shown when you are there to watch, you can gradually start to leave them to interact for longer periods. (Leave the house for just 10-15 minutes intially, and as they tolerate that, make it longer periods of time). I would hesitate to give them free range altogether if both males are intact however. If that is the case, I'd recommend that you keep the kittens in a separate room from the adult male cats. Make sure there are plenty of climibing surfaces, scratching posts, etc available as well as multiple food and water bowls and litter boxes so that no one feels threatened for resources. Here is a great website for cat behavior questions and concerns: https://www.catbehaviorassociates.com/category/family_and_home/intercat-relationships/ thanks for asking PetCoach!
