What are the side effects of the lepto vaccination for dogs? Is vomiting and diarreah possible? Our dog got the first shot on Jan 29th and on Feb 2nd had one episode of vomiting and diarreah. Should we be concerned? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 3 years and 11 months old | 47 lbs

No, these are not related, the side effects are usually lethargy, pain at the site of the injection and these happen within less than 24 hours. vomiting and diarrhea are not common side effect of this vaccine. if she had only one episode then it was probably something she ingested that caused a minor gastritis, nothing to be worried about.
