Redness around dog's stitches 6 days post-op: normal or infection?

My dog is 6 days post-op. I’ve taken precautions to avoid infections, but I’m concerned about the redness around the sutures. Is this a normal part of healing or should I take him to the vet for antibiotics? (pictures for reference attached) He hasn’t had any symptoms, but I just want to be on the safe side. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 40 lbs

Hello. The scrotum does look a little red for being 6 days post-op, but I am not sure it requires antibiotics. I would start by gently cleaning the skin with a skin antiseptic like Hibiclens twice a day. You can purchase this at any pharmacy.
