Could my cat's bald spot and my itchiness be from ringworm or fleas?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 6 lbs

My cat a few months ago had a bold spot on her shoulder and we didn't know what it was but we took her to vet and they gave us an antifungal shampoo and spray to put on her and her fur grew back, and so when it was healed we brought her back inside (she had to be isolated so we put her in garage) and when she had that bold spot my mom got itchy on her skin she didnt see any fleas or anything but she still felt itchy sensation of crawling animals what could it have been?

That's hard to know without being able to examine Jiji. It's possible it was fleas (just because you don't see them doesn't mean they are not present), scabies, ringworm or it could have been all in her head (happens to us vets too). I hope this helps.
