Hello, there are multiple different medications for different type of parasites. Parasites of the skin may include fleas, lice, ticks, or mites. You would need to differentiate between these type of parasites to determine which medication is needed. Hope this help and best of luck.

    That depends on the parasite. The best treatment for fleas are oral products such as Simparica and Nexgard. Certain types of skin mites may be sensitive to these products as well. Other types of mites however need different products. Unless you know which type you have, or if they are even present, you can’t be sure which medication is best. I hope this helps.
