Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 5 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs
I have a 6 year old cat named Pumpkin who is really poor behaved. She constantly wakes me and my boyfriend at night for no valid reason. When we try closing the bedroom door, she will ram and scratch the door but if we let her in she with scratch holes in the wall and scratch the bed. She is always trying to scratch the walls or climb the bookshelves. I don't know what to do because my boyfriend is a student and already has troubles sleeping so her behaviour is completely unacceptable.

She is probably stressed and/or bored. I recommend you put some Feliway diffusers in your house and do some environmental enrichment for her. Usually these two things help tremendously. ( https://www.feliway.com/ca_en/Products/FELIWAY-CLASSIC-Diffuser ) ( thedrakecenter.com/materials/environmental-enrichment-indoor-cats ) ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AejmrLa_Cs4 ) Hope this helps. If you have more questions you can always opt for a private consultation where we can chat back and forth. That way you can ask as many questions as you'd like. Best wishes.
