Why are my dog's paws bumpy from licking and ears crusty in winter?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 65 lbs

Could the bumps on her paw be from excessive licking? Also the tips of her ears get crusty during the winter what could that be?

On the leg she has a hot spot, this is usually caused by skin allergies and aggravated by licking. i can't really see anything abnormal on the ear but it could be related to the same problem. your vet can provide treatment for this condition.
