My Staffy has a bald patch on her nose. Should I take her to the vet?

My 2 year old staffy has a bald patch on top of her nose its appeared over last few days is it anything to worry about ??

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mia. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. Demodex is a mite that lives in the hair follicles of dogs. Overgrowths are common in her breed creating bald patches. If this is not the case, then ringworm is another possible cause of hair loss. The veterinarian will examine her and likely recommend skin testing. I hope this information helps!
