My kitten has bloated belly, diarrhea, won't eat cat food. Worms?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months old

Coco has a protruding stomach, he has diarrhea and went to potty about three or four a day. I found out on the internet, but I'm not sure if it's just bloating or he has a worm in his stomach. he also eats a little but quite often and he doesn't want to eat cat food he just wants to eat bloater fish (pindang) he also drinks water and milk quite a lot. so is my cat in a serious disease or not? and what should i do?

It is possible Coco has intestinal parasites. You would need to submit a stool sample to your veterinarian for confirmation. A physical exam would be recommended to rule out other causes. If intestinal parasites are diagnosed, your veterinarian can dispense or administer the appropriate dewormer. It may need to be repeated in 2, 4 and 6 weeks. He should be eating a quality kitten food. Fish alone is not a balanced diet for a growing kitten. Discontinue the milk as well since it may cause stomach upset.
