Hi there! I was brushing my dogs teeth today and I noticed this black spot on the bottom of his gums, this was the first time I’ve ever brushed his teeth so I haven’t seen it before. I’m concerned about it and am not sure what too do. Do I need too take him too the vet?

This could be normal pigmentation in the gums. You can keep an eye on it now that your are brushing Snoopy's teeth daily. If it begins to grow or change rapidly, then he should be seen by your veterinarian.
