Why did my puppy suddenly poop in its crate after going out?

My puppys go 6 hours in the day in a crate without weeing or pooing but last night they pooped in there crate after just going out. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 19 days old | 25 lbs
