My dog has blood around his anus, but no cuts. What's happening?

My boxer has blood around his anus with no visible lacerations. It appears to becoming from the inside.

Poor Jameson! Bleeding like this could be due to an internal injury, problems with the rectum or anus, parasites in the stool, or irritation/inflammation of the lower GI tract. If his bleeding is not stopping, or has been ongoing a while, it is best to schedule a vet visit to check for these issues and get started on treatment.
