How to help my dog's permanent insect bite scars on his legs?

My dog has permanent scares on his legs due to insect bites..is there any way to get rid of those scars.. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 11 months and 11 days old

If they are true scars, you can't get rid of then and the hair will not grow in those areas (most likely). At home you can try giving him an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for pets but it may not correct the underlying cause. This can however improve over all skin health. There are two brands of food, Royal Canin and Nutro, which are aimed at skin health and they may help as well but again, they may not affect the scars.
