Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 10 months and 25 days old | 8 lbs
My dog 8months old, had him for 6, has ALWAYS drank excessively as if he is always thirsty, gagged but not after drinking water just randomly, pees a lot, not lethargic. What is wrong with him if anything? Dont want to spend hundreds on test to find out possibly nothing. He doesnt seem like he is sick or anything and he never really throws up.

You can measure Theo's water intake to see if he really is drinking water excessively. As a rule of thumb, dogs should drink approximately one ounce of water per pound of body weight each day. That will be eight ounces for him. Measure out water in the morning, and the next morning, remeasure it. That will tell you if he's drinking excessively or not. If he is, then that can be a sign of a problem like diabetes. In that case, have him seen by a vet.
