My 3-month bunny's testicle hasn't dropped. Should I deworm him?

Hi, I have adopted my 3 month old bunny 2 days back. One of his testicles hasn't come down yet. I contacted a vet nearby, he said that maybe he has just one testicle and he further gave deworming medicines for him. Is it fine if one of his testicles hasn't descended yet? Do rabbits require deworming?

Thanks for reaching out about Kaju and including a photo. Some testicles are slower to descend than others so give it a few more weeks/months. After that, a retained testicle can be a problem, as if remains in the abdominal cavity can become neoplastic and will require surgical correction. As for deworming, it really depends on the parasite and the concentration load. Good luck.
