My dog has Achromobacter, antibiotic not helping. What can I do?

My dog has Achromobacter, antibiotic not helping, he is very uncomfortable. None of the emergency vets are equipped to help him in my area.

Your best option would be to have a culture and sensitivity panel done. This will confirm the diagnosis and determine the most effective antibiotic to use in treatment. In the meantime, pain management and supportive care can be administered as indicated. Unfortunately, our experts are legally prohibited from dispensing medications or providing prescriptions without a physical exam.
