My cat hasn't poop in 48 hours but she peed several times a day. I feed her wet food mixed with water or milk so I can keep her hydrated. What should I do

Baby Yoda needs to be examined by the veterinarian. Any pet not pooping for 2 days needs to be examined as they may need fluids, enema, stool softners....etc. Constipation can get worse quickly so it is much better to take care of it earlier. Have her examined today. I hope this helps.

One of the most common causes of constipation in cats is dehydration due to inadequate fluid intake, which can result from a dry food diet. As feces pass through the colon, water is normally reabsorbed via the colon. When a cat is dehydrated, the colon absorbs more water, leading to dry feces and causing constipation. Even though you are giving him additional water since he won't drink, he could still be dehydrated. Other causes include a foreign body, gastrointestinal tumors, megacolon, neurological problems, skeletal pain that makes posturing to defecate painful, hairballs, too much fiber in the diet, lack of exercise, stress, gastrointestinal polyps, and obesity. Fatboy will need to see a vet as soon as possible since he has not pooped in almost three days now. Manual evacuation of the feces may need to be done by the veterinarian to help him pass feces. This can be done by hand or with forceps under general anesthesia. Fluid therapy may be needed if Fatboy is dehydrated. Please take him into a vet as soon as possible.

Poor Toby. The number one cause of constipation in cats is dehydration, which I suspect he has if he's refusing to drink water. Feed him wet food and add water to it. Definitely have him seen by a vet tomorrow.

Hello there! Given that Dokmeh is eating and drinking normally, and her mood is ok, I wouldn't be too worried just yet. A common cause of not pooping in cats is dehydration, so I would feed her canned food or try soaking her dry food in warm water to get more moisture into her diet. I would also mix in a teaspoon of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) to but more fiber into her diet. If this doesn't help and she hasn't pooped by Monday, then I would be worried and have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
