My puppy shakes head, yelps, has dark ear wax. Is it an infection?

I just got a beagle puppy and I noticed that he is shacking his head all the time he yipes when I touch his ears and his ears are watery and have dark wax like stuff in them what should I do?? Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 29 days old | 10 lbs

If so, the veterinarian will examine the ears and collect a swab from each side. This can be looked at under the microscope.
