Hello my 5 month old shih tzu terrier mix has been having an issue with her head wobbling. She isnt acting lethargic or out of character, her head just wobbles side to side when she is sitting down. It has happened once before and after she took a nap it went away. This time I'm having trouble getting her to sleep, so I'm worried it's not an issue of her being over tired. Her ears are not read or smell like they are infected, so I don't think it's an ear infection.

That is concerning. If this has happened before, I would schedule a vet visit just to rule out any issues with the inner ear or neurologic problems that could be causing the wobble, even if she recovers after sleeping. If her symptoms are not resolving, or new symptoms are appearing, seeking out veterinary care right away is best.
