Hello, sorry to hear about Marley. Yes indeed she can. Male dogs may ejaculate soon after penetration leading to pregnancy. However, for full delivery of their ejaculate, dogs require bonding that may last longer. And thus, although the chances that Marley may be pregnant are existing, they are not as high as if the dogs had bonded. Hope this helps and best of luck.     If the male only mated with Eclaire for a few seconds, it's not very likely that she will get pregnant from that. There is a very remote possibility, but typically dogs need to tie for 15-20 minutes so there is time for the male dog to ejaculate. You can see swollen nipples and a swollen vulva when a dog is in heat, and given she has seen a vet and they feel she is fine, I wouldn't be concerned. Her nipples and vulva should go down in size as she comes out of heat. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
