My cockatiel screamed and is stretching its wing. Is it injured?

hello i have a cockatiel named baby who is about to turn 2 in april, i was just sitting with him and all of a suddenly he screamed and started flying as if something hurt him and now he keeps preening and kind of trying to readjust and stretching one of his wings a lot and he just flew a bit ago and screamed while flying as if he was in pain. other than that he is acting like he always does still energetic and still eating

I'm sorry to hear Baby got so startled! I would examine the wing he is chewing on/having trouble with to check for any injuries or wounds that may be obvious, and also limit his activity for a day to see if it helps with any minor injuries. If you suspect the wing is broken or there is a broken or torn blood feather, seeking veterinary care right away is best for treatment.
