Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 4 years and 6 months old | 69 lbs
Sunday night when I had Kyro move from my spot on couch he gagged and threw up 5 small spots of blood. An hour later he gagged again and blood from Nose. ER Vet gave Epinephrine. Conclusion is maybe Trauma. Kyro is fine now. Any opinions or conclusions from attached?

Hello, sorry to hear about Kyro. Dogs with bleeding from the nose could be from different causes. Yes trauma is an option but it sounds like you did. It witness any trauma immediately before the bleeding started. So it sounds like that may not be the cause. An infection or even inflammation can indeed be cause. Other causes such as a foreign object stuck in his nose can also be likely in dogs. And finally a clotting disorder. If you see any persistent bleeding or bruising in he belly or gums then I would be most concerned with a clotting disorder and you should have you dog evaluated immediately. Otherwise, continue the antibiotic that was prescribed and have him evaluated at your best convinience. Hope this helps and best of luck.
