Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 20 years old | 9.5 lbs

Hi azodyl supplement has been prescribed by my vet for Tony. If the pill is too large for him To swallow can it be cut in half? It is not recommended by manufacturer but what will happen if I do cut it into smaller pieces? Thx

It may not be as effective if you open the capsule. The reason for this is that the capsules have an acid-resistant coating which prevents break down in the stomach and allows for absorption in the intestines. So if you open it, the probiotics will be destroyed in the stomach likely.
