This is the best photo I could get as she doesnt want to sit still, but ive noticed Athena has these hard, crusty brown bumps on her neck. What could these be and what could they be from? Our other dog eclipse does not have them. At first we thought it was scabs from playing together but now she has more. Theyre always in straight lines never clusters or circles. It almost looks like something that would come out of a cyst. Should we schedule a vet visit?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Athena. I do recommend that she sees her veterinarian. The skin may be infected. In the meantime, you can try bathing her with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as an oatmeal or fatty acid based formula to soothe the skin. Puppies are susceptible to ringworm, mites and bacterial skin infections. I hope this information helps!
