My puppy shredded a loofah. Is soap or eating it harmful to her?

I have an 11 week old puppy. She got ahold of a loofah and has been playing with it. I don’t think she has eaten any of it. She just like to shred things. I can’t confirm whether or not I had soap on it. Is that bad for her?-. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 19 days old | 8 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Bella. The soap may upset her stomach a bit but should not be of major concern. However, I would be concerned if you think she has eaten some of the loofah as this could potentially to further upset her stomach or even lead to an obstruction. If you note Bella vomiting, lethargic, or having a decreased appetite, then I would recommend that shed be evaluated by her veterinarian soon. Hope this helps and best of luck.
