Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 months and 1 day old | 8 lbs
there are occasions when my cat breathes in to make noises, otherwise, he does not display other symptoms apart from occasional coughing. He is responding, eating and playing normally too

It sounds like Loki may have some rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passage) issues. It sounds stable for now, but it is still best to get him examined by your vet for just an overall health assessment sometime in the next week or so. Definitely get him seen sooner if the coughing becomes more frequent. The coughing could indicate a parasite problem or an undelrying issue with his heart/lungs.
