My dog has a sore on his head. Is Neosporin enough or should I worry?

Our border collie has a wierd sore on his head see attached Is it anything to be concerned about we already put neosporain on it

Hello, sorry to hear about Dutch. I would be concerned about this being some form of trauma or even an ulcerated nodule over his head. You could monitor that area for bleeding, pain, discharge, further hair loss, and the area becoming bigger. Neosporin should help keep the area clean, however, after 3 days it may slow down healing so you may need to discontinue it in about that time. Hope this helps and best of luck.
