Hello, Billy is up to date on his shots, he’s on prevention of worms and fleas. Recently he got diarrhea randomly like he was fine and next day he had it. So I got worry and I gave him 15 ml of original pepto bismol. His diarrhea stopped. I’ve been feeding him only boil chicken breast and white rice no condiments. He recover. His stool was hard and normal brown. But today he pooped again and his stool is yellow and at the end soft with mucos I believe... He’s been very active and happy.

This sounds like at this point Billy should really see your vet to have his stool checked for parasitse. Not all preventatives will cover all types of worms that pets can get, so it is best to have this checked. Most preventatives will prevent only 2-3 potentialy worms that pets can get. Until you can get Billy in to be seen by your vet it is best to offer him 1-2 tsp of canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) to help solidify his stools and also a probiotic (Culturelle over the counter wokrs well) daily to help stabilize the stools. Most pets with loose stool like this will need a short course of antibiotics, so it is best to get him seen by your vet on Monday if the stool is still abnormal. Best of luck with your pet Billy moving forward. Take care. : )
