Hi there. My dog is having trouble going to the bathroom and just today has been excessively bleeding on my carpet (bright/light red) from her anus. She also has been peeing uncontrollably. She is around 15-17 years old shih tzu. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 17 lbs

This could be bloody diarrhea from colitis, pancreatitis or a number of other diseases. It's also possible that the blood is coming from an anal gland. I would recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian right away - if there is excessive bleeding she may become dehydrated quickly.
