Why is my puppy so itchy and losing hair after a food switch?

My puppy is super itchy. We just switched his food about two weeks ago and now this itching started. We gave him and oatmeal bath and bathed him with head and shoulders thinking it was dry skin under his coat but he keeps itching. I’ve switched his food back and got a allergy spray to help him but i looked where he is itching and he’s starting to loose hair. How can i help him. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 5 days old | 70 lbs

Poor Muskwa! If he is that itchy, I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian. There are medications like Apoquel and Cytopoint which can stop the itching but you can only get those from your vet. sometimes anti-histamines can help but they are not as strong as the above medications. You will need to call your vet for dosing because pharmacy law prohibits online vets from dosing medications. I hope this helps.
