Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | 5 years and 10 months old | 17 lbs
My dog is having seizures but my veterinarian doesn't now why. She checked blood content and everything was fine. Some said that the worst thing that could be is brain tumor, but I hope it's not. She got her first seizure when she was 5 years old and since that she is getting medicines for epilepsy even through we don't know reason. I've noticed that she is drinking more water then the other dogs. When I googled it there was something called "Water intoxication". Can that cause seizures?

Water intoxication can cause severe, fatal seizures but occurs as an acute event when drinking after a period of water restriction, not ongoing seizures. Many dogs are not seizure free on medication but the severity and frequency would hopefully be reduced. Referral to a specialist neurologist for further evaluation may help to determine if there is an underlying cause and if adjustment to her medication may help
