My ferret isn't eating, sick, and chewed a sock. What to do until vet?

My ferret hasn’t been eating or drinking anything and when I take her out to play she runs to her cage and sleeps. I caught her chewing on a sock a little while ago and I know that if she swallowed a piece that that could cause a blockage and can stop her from eating. I made her an appointment tomorrow for the vet but I can’t stop stressing and was wondering if there’s anything I could do for her in the meantime?

Poor Halo! Hopefully you've been able to get to the vet by now since I see this post is a bit older. If not, keeping her warm and happy and monitoring her for any changes in status (vomiting, retching, lethargy, pain, etc) is best. If she does suddenly act worse, or has very obvious signs of illness, getting her into a vet or emergency clinic sooner is best.
