Is it normal for my dog to roll his eyes back when sneezing or windy?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 8 years and 9 months old

Hi I've noticed lately my dog rolls his eyes back like they flick up and you see the red part of his eye (It's just for a split second) when he either sneezes or is outside and the wind is blowing on them. Is this something to be concerned about. He doesn't do it otherwise just the odd time.

Dogs eyes may roll when they are getting ready to sneeze. I'm not sure what to make of the wind blowing. If you see redness to the eye, discharge, the cornea does not look clear or any signs of other abnormalities, have Barney examined. I hope this helps.
