New dog just home: Crate training, bonding, and first week plan?

Hi. My friends got a dog yesterday and I volunteered to help train her. She is a mix, with some Pit Bull and Boxer in her. She doesn’t have a name yet. I want to start with getting her comfortable in her crate because last night she was barking a lot. Then I want to get her to bond a bit with her new owners. Anything else I should do today? It’s her 2nd day home, so I don’t wanna stress her too much. Also, what should I do over the next few weeks? Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 11 days old
