Can I give my cat olive oil to help pass a hairball safely?

Is olive oil safe to feed to my cat to help him pass his hair ball?

I don't recommend to do this. Olive could cause significant GI upset. Instead use a product like Laxatone. You may also switch your food to a hair ball formula. I recommend the formula by Royal Canin. daily brushing will also help. If Oliver continues to have problems, have him examined by the veterinarian.

    Olive oil is not likely to help. I recommend to switch her food to a a diet for hairballs. You can also try a supplement for hairballs like laxatone. Daily brushing can also help. https://www.petcoach.co/article/hairballs-cause-vomiting-not-coughing/ I hope this helps.
