Why does my dog have eye discharge? Is it worms or an infection?

Unfortunately, I can't tell from the photo. It looks like Neige has a lot of discharge in the eye and this is concerning for an infection. I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian to check out a possible eye infection and to look for any worms. I hope this helps.

    Even though a picture would help to determine the underlying cause of it, that is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well.
