My cat's thyroid level is 2.5. Is this a safe level for my senior cat?

Hi In the last 3 months Tony’s thyroid level has increase from 1.6 to 2.5. He has been on methimazole for a few years but my vet did not choose to change the dosage with this most recent reading. Is 2.5 a safe thyroid level? Also could you tell me the range in which a phosphorus level should be? Thanks

I hate to hear Tony's levels are going up. The normal range will depend on the lab that is used. I recommend to call your vet and ask these questions because they know the reference range that Tony has been using this whole time. I hope this provides some guidance.
