Why is my cat scratching red, balding skin between her eyes and ears?

Pet's info: Cat | Korat | Female | spayed | 7 years and 3 months old | 11 lbs

Hello! I have a 7-year-old female Korat. Since she was little, we have always noticed that there seems to be balding between her eyes & ears. The balding is symmetrical, & it has never seemed to bother her until recently. I've noticed that she has been scratching at the exposed skin, causing it to sometimes bleed a little. There are tiny scabs on the balded areas & I have also noticed that her exposed skin there is getting red. I wanted to ask if this hair loss above her eyes is normal in cats.

A little thinning of the hair in these areas is normal but what I see in the photos is not normal. I think Bella needs to see a vet for this issue. This could be ringworm, mange mites, an autoimmune disease, allergy, etc. Your vet will have to help sort this out.
