My dog ate a corn cob the ones that come in half and I don’t know if I should be worried. He is a standard poodle a year old and is releasing smelly liquid through the butt

A corn cob poses a serious risk of gastric or intestinal obstruction. Simba should be seen by your veterinarian today. Abdominal x-rays will be needed to determine where the cob is and if it is stuck. If he cannot pass it on his own, surgery may be required.

Hi and thanks for posting. Corn cobs can cause gastrointestinal obstructions when ingested. Simba should see his veterinarian ASAP for an evaluation. Your vet may want to do x-rays and/or an ultrasound to check for an obstruction.
