Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 months and 26 days old | 4.8 lbs
My kitten has a bumb about the size of a marble on her lower stomach. She's still very active and hasn't showed anything that tells us it puts her through discomfort, and she's 4-5 months old and she is spayed, but everything I've seen says whatever could be it, usually is in older cats instead. I haven't been able to find what it is though. Can anyone tell me what it might be, and or if she would need to get it removed at the vet?

Sorry....hernias can be repaired during a spay procedure, but since she is spayed already, you can either have her anesthetized again or wait for her next anesthetic procedure to have it repaired (if your vet determines that it can wait).

It could be a small hernia. You would need to have Jynx examined by your veterinarian for confirmation. If it isn't a hernia, it could be a small mass. Your vet can perform a fine needle aspirate to collect samples for pathology. This may diagnose what it is.
