How to stop my husky from biting and dragging another husky's neck?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 59 lbs

My male husky has been grabbing my female husky by her neck and dragging her around while they are playing. He sometimes won’t even get off until I pry his mouth off of her. Please tell me how I can stop this behavior. I don’t want him to damage her neck.

I suggest you work with a professional dog trainer to get this behavior corrected. In the meantime you can put a spiked collar (also called a wolf or coyote collar) on her so that he is not able to grab her neck. ( https://www.coyotevest.com/products/coyotecollar )
