My dog is shedding and losing weight. Is it her thyroid or hormones?

Dear Vet, my dog is shedding hair since 2months now and she lost around 3 kilos in 3months from 27.40kg to 24.40kg she's on royal Canin hypoallergenic since 7 months. Her complete blood test is good as per the vet stated. Her VET. prescribed her Vibrac supliment (see attach) is it enough? Should I check her hormones? Or should I do vitamin test? Any advice is really appreciated. Thanks. Note that my dog never shed in winter time. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | 10 years and 5 months old | 59 lbs

Hello. If your veterinarian has not checked Moka's thyroid levels, then yes this needs to be looked at. Otherwise, this is a good fatty acid supplement, but it can take 6-8 weeks to see results after a supplement is started. If this does not work, she may need some additional testing.
