Why isn't my senior Lab's leg wound healing after tumor surgery?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Male | 105 lbs

Its male Labrador aged 10. He had a minor Tumour in His Leg and to examine / Investigate the Cause of the Tumour, doctor made a Cut at the Tumour area and Removed the Tumour and the affected area was kept open without any bandage. the wound is not getting healed and there is a swelling also. kindly help

Hi there and thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear the wound doesn't look like it is healing well. Bruno may need the wound bandaged and/or given antibiotics. Sometimes if a wound is red and swollen it means it may be infected. I would recommend asking Bruno's veterinarian to take a look at the wound and see if antibiotics may be an option for Bruno to help it heal.
